My Brava Oven Review
Healthy recipes, delicious meals, want to know my latest secret?
The Brava Oven. Yes, this countertop oven has taken cooking to the next level and truly makes me feel like a professional chef right at home. I am a busy working mom, so having gadgets in my kitchen that will give me some time back in my day are a must.
For the past 6 months, this guy has been working every day, non-stop. We prepare breakfast for the kids, I warm up leftovers when working from home, and he's busy helping us with dinner at night.
I am sure you are curious to know what makes the Brava Oven stands out when compared to other countertop ovens, and here is what I have to share with you:
First and foremost, you don't have to figure out how to use it. The Brava Oven team offers a live video tutorial with a Brava employee (a real person) who walks you through the features and answers all the questions you may have. The call was definitely a plus!
The Brava Oven uses a combination of visible and infrared light, known as Pure Light Cooking, which can go from zero to 500 degrees Fahrenheit in seconds. How cool is that? Ahh, and let's not forget that the smart oven doesn't need to be preheated. This was a huge time saver for me, especially in the morning when I have to pack lunch for my son and I have very little time before we are out the door.
There's a five-inch touchscreen on the top part of the oven, and that's where you go to see all the functions the Brava offers. On your home screen, under the recipe button, there are thousands of recipes to choose from with easy combinations for all types of meals. The recipes are also available in the Brava Oven app. You can also favorite recipes and share them with your friends. New recipes are added every Tuesday.
The Brava team also has a Facebook group for users to share tips and recipes.
If you like to check on your meal while it's cooking, the Brava has 2 cameras inside and allows you to watch on the Brava screen or your smartphone.
Once cooking is done, you can place your tray right on top of the oven as they have a very nice and thick rubber surface to place your cooked meal. Also, the Brava Oven stays cool outside, so there are no burning hands.
The starter set includes the Brava Oven, two cook trays (glass and metal), the Brava Temp sensor, and a 100-day free trial. I know the price is higher when compared to other countertop ovens, but truly no one compares to what the Brava has to offer.
All the accessories (chef's pan, metal tray, glass tray, egg tray, and dutch oven) are non-stick and super easy to clean. The trays have numbers, and the Brava tells you exactly where to place your ingredients. They really got us covered!
The only thing I'd say that I don't really care to use is the Temperature sensor. I just find it a bit difficult to plug it in.
If you want to avoid the hassle of replacing your countertop oven every couple of years or just having several small appliances, the Brava Oven is definitely an all-in-one long-term investment.
I have a few dedicated Brava posts on my Instagram page @myrusticmodernliving. Go check it out and see some real-life moments with the Brava Oven.
Cheers to easy cooking, my friends!
Warmly,
